Celeb beauty at the Oscars 2012
My personal favorite beauty look of the Oscars. I could gush on and on about her hair but I'll stick with the makeup. It's elegant, fresh, and enhances her natural beauty rather than creating a painted mask. A perfectly smooth complexion with a warm, golden color. Nude glossed lips with sculpted, but not over-done eyebrows. What really establishes this beauty look is the perfectly applied, slight flick of black liquid eye liner and the long, feathery top lashes.
Gwyneth was the picture of perfection in her white, angular cape and gown ensemble. The look channeled the futuristic but not in a bold or unnerving way. I admired her look for the same reasons I admired Jessica's, it is very simple and enchantingly elegant. Again, the black liquid liner and light, feathery lashes are what establishes this beauty look. A winged flick like Jessica's would possibly be too youthful of a venture for classic Gwyneth and could also exaggerate age lines.
It's a package deal. Her hair, her lips, her lashes, and the infamous (and repeated) display of her godly gam. Angelina's wispy lashes extend longer at the ends, enhancing their alluring appeal.
Oh Rooney, how I could endlessly croon of your beauty! Ivory skin with lips like a painted doll and, of course, a serious bang. Rooney's long, spaced-apart lashes accent her soft, subtly-done eyes. Rooney's beauty lies in the perfect balance of stark contrasts between dark (bold) and light (soft) features.
